MISSION STATEMENT: EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY (FAMILY) EMPOWERING THE NATION (WORLD) !!

AIMS

1. The Empress Menen Foundation was established to improve the quality of life of Rastafari families by exploring and sharing their African Caribbean cultural heritage:

2. EMF aims to continue researching and developing information on The Elders of Jamaica for the benefit of the Rastafari Nation, thereby empowering the community of the world to ADOPT AN ELDER.

3. To assist in the development of the Rastafari community (removing marginalisation) by harnessing, developing and exchanging marketable skills, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the social, environmental & economic well-being of their respective communities in and throughout the world.

4. EMF aims to work with and support a range of member organisations who care for the Elderly from African, the Caribbean, Latin American, Asian and European communities whose aims are Education and Empowerment.

5. EMF aims to support and advance basic skills by developing education and empowerment programs to help disadvantaged Rastafari families take control of finances, develop awareness and confidence about budgeting, financial products and manage change in their lives.

6. EMF aims to organise meetings & cultural activities that develop a better understanding of the culture and principles of Rastafari from different ethnic backgrounds.

7. Undertake and publish research and provide resources that promote the interest and welfare of members in the UK and globally.

8. EMF aims to provide information to organisations, agencies and the public to support our mission of EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY AND EMPOWERING THE NATION.
