Gathering in London, U.K. 10th Nov. 2007

"Greetings to all with the love of our saviour, Yahwshua and Our beloved Father Jah!
InI started the morning by turning the computer on and write a bulletin saying:
"Greetings in this beautiful morning in this ya world of JAH, Igziabeher, and his son Yahwshua! Today is the day! To those attending, InI will see all there. To those NOT attending... It's ones loss! InI will be giving thanks in the 4 hour journey to attend this gathering, knowing that JAH is almighty! Bless I Ras B.". Couldn’t wait!
Made a 4 hour journey on a coach, an hour to get to the Indian Veggie restaurant (Lovely food, by the way!), due to the remembrance celebration party that was going on in London and had the streets packed, crowds everywhere!
InI was the first to get there (thou 10 mnts late), in the company of the affiliated Sis Michelle (InI‘s Empress). Shortly after, Sis Yahnyka, Ras Leon and Ras Bruno (from Martinique) were the first to arrive. InI started by knowing better these Bredrin and Sis. Ras Leon is a very artistic bredrin, gifted by Jah (myspace.com/r_u_v_a_) and made I’ self available with one's gifts for any project necessary! This bredrin, although a bit quiet, shown big determination and big concerning for any projects we may embrace! Raspekt to the I! Ras Bruno Was quite interested in bringing things forward and shown large interest in supporting both a prison-related project and youth programs with all his sports knowledge and gifts! To note this bredrin was talking about subjects with a vibrating love showing! These 3 Ras's and Sis are from Brixton London! Sis Yahnyka was another one really interested in all the projects brought up as possible works-to-be. This blessed Empress works in administration and is quite familiar with all the burocracy related with putting up a live show, concerts with bands and artists! Jah brought this Sis in InI's trod, due to the ideas InI been pondering upon to do a series of fund raising shows to support the several projects yesterday discussed. This proves once more that Jah works in mysterious ways!
Then Ras Jahlisha, a bredrin that one has to admire! It’s an honour for InI to say that this blessed King is ever so serene, wise in any issue related to the faith and focused on achieving things. Never losing any word throughout the reasoning, was a main contribution to the balance of this gathering and the debate itself that ones endured, with the purpose of discussing the future of works discussed. King Jahlisha also gave an introduction to the blessed project in shashamane, the rastafari nazarite research center (http://www.rastafari-nazarite-library.com).
Sis Serenity had lost the train, and so got there a bit later. Her three blessed children came along and it was so nice to see three youth among InI, especially serene as they were. Big love and RASpekt for this Sis, which InI been reasoning with for a while. Being quite active in local community projects, Sis Serenity shared one’s experience and opinion about collaborating with local community centres (Point InI had already insisted at the beginning) in order to achieve a wider range of bredrin and Idrin’s youths. Sis Serenity insisted in the fact that a meeting where the love for Yahwshua can be a common ground, the Inity in the Rastafari community and the family ideals can be strengthened; that it may become a reality is one’s vision! Of course that this first gathering ended up by being more works focused, but the reason that from there ensued was something beyond words!
It’s hard to express in words the level of spirituality achieved when in company of bredrin/sistren of the same faith/beliefs; it’s a moving experience!
Ras Leon, Ras Bruno and Sis Yahnyka had to leave earlier, but their presence was not only fruitful but also quite important in order to open future possibilities of forthcoming works! InI thanks to JAH for bringing these strong souls to this gathering, and therefore widen our chances of success in doing good works!
Mama Askale Selassie was the last to arrive(Arrived from Holland hours earlier, on purpose to attend the gathering). This Elder Empress is a well known presence in the Rasta community around the world, and a strong activist in the works of JAH. Her unstoppable will in her current works for the Ancient Elders in JAMAICA (Empress Menen Foundation) gave this Nyahbinghi Empress knowledge of our community as a whole and enabled one to recognise the Importance and need of Inity in dis ya times. Mama Askale also brought forward her current projects and contributed immensely by entertaining ones with a variety of stories, told by someone who contributed a lot to the acceptance of the Rasta way of being not only in Jamaica but throughout the world. From the times Sis worked with Bob Marley to the polemics sometimes caused by her strong personality and Activism of truth and Upliftment of the RASTA, the long trod of this Empress is incredible! Empress Menen Foundation is about love, Inity and said to share a lot of the ideals of Fulfilled Rastafari when it comes to Inity among Houses and Mansions.
It was such an enlightening and rewarding time that is hard to put in words… Bredrin and sistren had to be there to understand some of the things InI experienced! Love and will to do JAH works! From the immense spiritual knowledge of Ras Jahlisha, to the quietness of Sis Michelle in paying extra attention to the ongoing debate; From the vibrating Emotion of Ras Bruno brought to the debate to the lively presence of Mama Askale; From the honourable presence of Sis Serenity to this gob smacked InI, the gathering couldn’t have been more touching and fruitful. Even the few last minute calls and mails in some bredrin/sistren informing their unavailable presence, didn’t stopped this gathering of being something far and beyond explanation!
The presence of Bredrin DanNobleman and Sis Jahnyra were highly missed! Let’s hope that they can attend the next time!
It was agreed at the end of this gathering the collaboration with Ras Jahlisha’s project, EMF’s projects and the start of works to enquire about the legal side of starting a prison related project ; also the aspects included in doing a fund raising show in the future will be pondered upon. Another of the outcomes is the project (already initiated) of creating a website where all these works can be explained and promoted to the world, and awareness can be raised; which for the time being has been given the title “Corner of good will- So Jah seh…”
Giving thanks to the most high for the honour of sharing such experience and the company of such blessed bredrin and sistren
